                                           Bless others through my paintings.
the logo for the children's home and soon going to be printed on shirts.

I am in currently in Kathmandu and I had a very safe journey from my village. Thanks for your prayers and support. I was hoping to finish the house that I was building along with the village workmen but unfortunately it’s a monsoon season and the house had to be stopped.  It was very hard to leave my village but I know God has more things for me here in Kathmandu. It’s been two weeks since I left my village and already a lot has happened and I know there are more yet to come. I have been doing a lot of paintings for various church members and also for the children’s home and I feel blessed to be a blessing to others. Me giving freely or selling for a very cheap price has shocked many people here and my answer to them is that painting is a gift from God and so I would like to give as it was given for me.
I also have a testimony and that is God paid for my air ticket through some one. I had already booked a train ride from north India to Bangalore but two days back I just was amazed to find a missionary who was willing to pay for my ticket. Honestly I had no money in my bank, because I had spent a lot in my village on the house and my family and for the ministry. I was so happy to know that God just did a huge help and a huge favor.
Next week I will be joining a team from Australia and we will be going to another place in Nepal called Pokhara and we will be ministering to the street kids there. And the rest of my time I will be painting and spending time with the church in Kathmandu. So my time here is not very busy but it’s according to my passion and I feel very much closer to God while I do art. I am also supper excited to go back to India and meet my family and attend my brother’s wedding.  I know this will be my last time writing a news letter from Nepal but I will say that Nepal is in my heart and I will come back some day.

                                                                        MY TESTIMONY
If you would ask me “what has God done in your life” my answer to that would be “He has brought relationship in my life”. I know there is tons of answer to that question but y answer has been my testimony from the very beginning. Many of you know my testimony but I would like to share it again. I have talked to my birth mom and sister and got their side of the story to add to my testimony and to my family testimony.
My birth mom cooking rice for me and my sis.
I was born in cultured hindu family from Nepal and I belonged to the high cast. My dad married three women including my mom. Since I was very naughty kid my dad took me to south India, thinking that I will learn and be educated. When I came to south India I didn’t like my step mom and I ran away. I stayed in the streets for couple of months and learned to survive at the age of seven. When my mom heard that I was lost she left my younger sister and went to India to search for her lost son. My sister was only 4 years old and my mom left her for five months with only 100 rupees. When my mom reached south India she went out looking for me and she got lost for two whole weeks.  My mom’s brother found her and took her to Nepal and there she lived in shame for 6 years. The village members made fun of her and my sister and took their land by force. I somehow by God’s grace was able to find myself a wonderful family in south India. That wonderful family is Kirubai children’s home.
It was only through prayers that I was able to meet my birth mom and sister after six years. So God has brought these relationships in my life and I am truly great full to God for this. It’s not a coincidence that makes my testimony but it’s through prayers and Gods will.
I have been living with my birth mom and sister for seven months. I have enjoyed living with them under a small roof and eating very simple food. I have served in my village and have shared the gospel. Village life is a tough one but I take it a joy and live with it. It’s only a matter of time I will be leaving my village and heading back to India. God has taught me a lot and I am still learning. I currently am helping my family in building a new house for them. The house is very simple but better than the house that they have been living in. they will be getting electricity for the first time. Please pray for my village and my family.

                                                         I am Blessed.

My pastor's brother wedding.
It’s been a wonderful month for me, here in far west of Nepal. I am still living in my village with my birth mom and sister. By the way it’s really hot, lots of mosquitoes at night and lot of music throughout the night. In this side of the culture people love dancing during the weddings. I am not kidding there has been marriage every day in my village and the funny thing is, my village is small. So it’s been a long time since I slept well. The couple that are getting married are always very young and when I questioned the people’s answer was that it’s part of the culture to get married at a very early age. Most of the marriages that I had attended in my village, the couples are in their teens.
His name is Bhirandhra who gave his life to Jesus .

I was invited by my pastor to help him and be part of his two brother’s marriage.  It was long three days of marriage and fact is I had no choice since he was my pastor. The reason I am sharing about marriage is because I had the opportunity to meet new people and share the gospel during marriage. I had ministered to 24 young men and I really feel like God gave me this opportunity. While ministering to these young men I shared my testimony and they amazed and 10 of them really accepted Jesus. The cool thing that I learned from this is that we should bring Jesus in every topic and we shouldn’t be shy to share the gospel.

Thank you for your prayers and support and please do continue praying for me and the people in my village.

                                                           God is faith full.
It’s been two whole weeks that I am in Kathmandu and by Gods grace I am going great. Before I came to Kathmandu I was helping the church in my village and to be honest I am sad that we don’t do much outside of the church. We have prayer groups that meets up thrice a week and apart from that I do a lot of prayer walks and share the gospel to the village members.
I had been preparing for the trip to Darjeeling with financially, mentally and physically. The trip would have been very long if I were to travel from my village to Darjeeling. So I took a bus to Kathmandu and my plan was to stay there for three days then again take two buses to reach Darjeeling. But then I got sick for a week and I was too weak to go to Darjeeling. Realizing that I would not make it to Darjeeling I felt ashamed of myself and over all just was frustrated at the situation. I was so sure that God did call me to Darjeeling and when it didn’t work out I was just totally disappointed.
I think this month I had my ups and downs but over all God has still been faith full in every way. I am alright now and I know may be next time I will make it to Darjeeling. After my sickness I was able to rest two days and also was able to help the church in Kathmandu. The church in Kathmandu have different kinds of ministry and I worked with the maintain ministry which is construction of the church. I love the fact that we men can work with others and have a great fellowship.
As I was working with two men from the church a children’s home kids helped us with the labor work. And one of the kid said to me I have no strength but Jesus gives me strength to do more work. Through a small kid I was blessed to know that through Jesus we have strength to do greater work.
Tomorrow I will be leaving to my village and will be helping with the church and also will be helping my sister to build a house. To build a house it will take us two months and I am counting on Jesus for strength and good health. Sorry that I have no picture to upload as my phone crashed and I have no pictures. Thanks for your prayers and support .

                                                     Praying for more youth
my Nepalese id.

I am in my village, staying with my mom and sister. A lot has happened in just one month. A very good thing has taken place and that is I am now officially a Nepalese. In order to get the citizenship I had to spend the whole two days in the local office but it was worth it. So now I have both Indian and Nepalese ID. I am grateful for your prayers and support and because of that I and my family have been able to sell our property. Now we have enough money to build a decent house.  Since my sister couldn’t finish her studies due to my mom health condition and since she is too old to continue, we have been praying for some opportunity. Finally after many months my sister was able to do a beauty parlor course, provided by the government.

I am able to talk to people about Jesus freely after a long period of friendship with the local people. It seems to me many know Jesus as a good man but not as the truth. They like how the Christian religion is but they are not willing to follow Jesus since it’s new to their culture. I and the youths of my church in my village have been frequently meeting and praying a lot. Though there are only 6 of us praying we sense God is working something in our village. Thought I cannot see a person coming to Jesus, I constantly keep hearing people giving their life to Jesus.
The last time I was at my village I used to talk to the youths in my village and to be honest I used to spend a lot of time with them. I was getting a lot closer to them and I used to pray with them in football ground. It’s been 20 days since I came to my village and the sad thing is I am not able to find the youths that I used to spend time with. I am a little bit disappointed because it took me time to gain their friendship and trust but now it’s all gone. I am not giving up but it really hurts to see things not going as you have liked to.

In a few days I will be travelling to Kathmandu and Darjeeling (north east India) for ministry purpose.  I will be joining with a team from south India and I hope God helps me out. Thank you .

                                   BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING

Well I am still in Kathmandu and it’s been a wonderful month and it’s all because of God and me living under his blessing. I know I said I was going to my village in my last news letter but things turned around and I got the opportunity to paint. I have been praying for a long time and I know that God wants me to be a blessing to others through my painting. Last month my painting was a blessing to a children’s home.  This month the paintings are a blessing to many family and friends. It’s just not that the painting is nice to look at but it’s all because I prayed and waited and painted. The glory goes to God since he spoke to me and I just had to listen and be open to him.

The paintings that I do are to support my birth mom and sister as they don’t get any source of income from anywhere.  Each painting has a story behind it and I would like to share one of the stories to you guys. Two weeks ago a pastor asked me to paint three painting for a family. The family wanted a painting of a lion, nature and the last one for the family. The last one was to be a prophetic one for the family.  I prayed a lot and since I really didn’t know the family I had to just wait upon God. As I was praying I saw a light house an ocean and a ship. Had no idea what that meant but I just went ahead and painted it. It was strange for me to paint a light house for a Nepal family cause there is no lighthouse or a sea in Nepal. When the family saw the painting they were shocked and the amazing part was that the father of the family was working in Australia in a ship. They understood the painting more than I did.

I have done about 12 paintings and I know they are going to be a blessing to many people. I am glad that I am gifted with the talent of painting and I am going to bless as many as people. Thank you for your prayers and support.

                                                           LION OF JUDAH

the logo for the home

Well I am in Kathmandu and I have been here for three weeks. My time here has been a blessing and a time of refreshment. I wish I could stay longer in Kathmandu cause in the last three weeks I have done more than I did in my village. And also it is easier for me to find something to do here in Kathmandu than in my village. I had a great time with my brother celebrating Christmas and was also able to meet new people and have connection.

team that helped the street kids
Last week I joined a church to help with the street kid’s home. The church has been working with the street kids for a very long time and a few months ago I too was able to minister to the street kids. The kids now are in their teens and most of them have been addicted to drugs and weeds. Now most of the kids are free from addiction and are regularly coming to the church. After many years the church was able to find a home for the kids. I and few other people spent three days just cleaning the home and fixing beds and repairing lights. Being there to just help the church has been a joy and I was blessed to see the street kids being blessed.

I did a painting of a lion few months ago and the supporter for the street kids liked the lion that I painted. They asked me if they could use my painting as the logo and the theme for the street kid’s home. I didn’t hesitate and said yes to it and that was a big blessing for me too. I am glad that my painting could be a blessing to another children’s home. The name of the children's home is Lion Of Judah.

Other than that I have been doing lot of paintings lately and I am glad to paint after a month. My time here has been a blessing to me and many other and I thank God for this joy. I will be going again to my village in a week from now and I will be there for a few months. Thanks for your prayers and support.
